Junta is a kit of rolling papers and filters designed around waste reduction, where the packaging is treated as part of the product rather than something to throw away once opened.
Most of the pack detaches and works as filter tips, so the material that would normally be discarded is the material the product needs. That constraint decided everything else: the paper is recycled and biodegradable, and the whole thing is printed in non-toxic ink, since the printed surface ends up in the user's hands and mouth.
Alongside the kit, the project includes a retail display holding a full set of packs, extending the identity from the object in hand to the point of sale.
I developed the brand identity and the packaging, which was prototyped and produced as physical objects. Developed during an Erasmus exchange in València.
